Teacher’s file
Beaufort03 makes a teacher’s file available for free. This information file is intended for teachers from lower vocational education. The contents are mainly directed at the Beaufort Inside exhibition in the Art Museum at the Sea in Ostend. You can dowload the teacher's file here (only in Dutch).
Looking for adventure?
Within the framework of the publication ‘The Log Book of Captain Beaufort’ youth performances will be held during the summer months of July and August from the Art Museum at the Sea (Mu.ZEE) in Ostend.
The beginning: an old yellowed letter between the pages of the Log Book of Captain Beaufort and a moving tale. The mission: delivering a farewell letter for Eufrazie, his true love, at its right destination. The result: an exciting quest together with the great-grandson of the Captain, many riddles and thrilling stories! Are you between 7 and 12 years old, you can join us on this discovery trip:

Price: € 5, but performance of 04/07 is free at the occasion of ‘Kids@Oostende’

Guided tours for the visually impaired

Beaufort Inside
Kunstmuseum aan zee Collecties van de Provincie West-Vlaanderen en Stad Oostende.
The museum is equipped with extra wide lifts in order to welcome wheelchair users. There are slopes on each floor.
Beaufort Outside
Presenting art in public space is not self-evident. As much as possible, the organisers tried to take into account the fact that the Beaufort works are located on accessible locations.
